5097  SENIOR STAFF PROCESS ENGINEER

Requires a BS degree in Chemical Engineering and a minimum of 8 years operating company experience in refining.  Must have refining process & economics experience.  Knowledge of DCS, process control, process simulation and data historians is a plus. Successful candidate will be responsible for analysis & monitoring process unit operations for optimization.  Will also be responsible for evaluation of modifications to process design & revamps, as well as provide technical leadership on capital projects. Large international refining company located on a Tropical Island.

5098 PROCESS ENGINEER

Requires BS degree in Chemical Engineering & a minimum of 3 years experience in a refining company environment.  Successful candidate will be responsible for routine process operations, such as energy & mass balances, process optimization and process simulation. Will also be responsible for initiation & justification of new projects in addition to monitoring & unit improvement.  Large operating company located in Texas.

5099 PROCESS ENGINEER

Requires BS degree in Chemical Engineering and a minimum of 8 years experience in a refinery environment that includes a minimum of 3 years in operations & project management.  Successful candidate will be responsible for operations of the unit, technical assistance, & development of small capital projects.  Must have process modeling/simulation skills such as HYSIM or Aspen process simulation products.  Large operating company located in Louisiana.

5101 PROCESS ENGINEER

Requires BS degree in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience in specialty chemicals operations, such as hydrogenation, distillation, alkylation, and maleic anhydride chemistry. Must have batch operations experience as well as continuous process experience. Successful candidate will be responsible for technical support and production supervision. 5103 PROCESS ENGINEERING MANAGER

Requires a BS in Chemical Engineering and ten years minimum experience in process engineering in a refining environment. Will be responsible for technical assistance to refining operations, and preparation of capital budget & expense budget of Process Engineering Department. Large operating company located in Texas.

6008 SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER

Requires BS in Chemical Engineering and at least 8 years experience in refining operations.  Successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing & monitoring of units processes, HYSIM applications experience is preferred.  Must have in-depth knowledge of processes of assigned units and be able to provide technical support to refinery personnel, as well as develop designs for small capital projects.  Large international operating company located in Louisiana .

6012 PROCESS ENGINEER

Requires BS degree and a minimum of 3 years experience in refining operations. Will be responsible for unit optimization database maintenance of PFD’s and P&IDs. Candidate will be responsible for improving yields, basic simulation, justification of new projects and other improvements to the unit. Large operating company located in Texas.

5081 SENIOR ADVANCED PROCESS CONTROL ENGINEER

Requires a Chemical Engineering degree and 7-15 years of experience in multivariable control. Prefer individuals with dynamic process modeling skills such as HYSYS or other flowsheeting applications, as well as optimization, such as RT OPT or DMO. Responsibilities will include support of advanced process control applications for industrial gas facilities, as well as provide operations support to plant personnel including local plant technicians and local site management.  Support will include training, troubleshooting, and preventative/corrective maintenance focusing on all areas of the APC system.  Large international operating company located in New England.

5102 PROCESS CONTROL ENGINEER

Requires a BS in Chemical Engineering with at least 3 years experience in process control in an operations environment. Must have Fisher Provox DCS experience.  Will provide technical support to the operating units, primarily in the area of process control. This support requires the use of systems engineering principles, control system knowledge, process technology knowledge, and data analysis. Successful candidate will develop and implement new analog, digital and supervisory process control strategies, as well as provide support as required for troubleshooting existing process control applications. Will also act as technical consultant on process control engineering to others in the plant and the company. Large international chemical company located in Texas.

6002 SENIOR APPLICATION ENGINEER

Requires a minimum of a BS degree in Engineering, MS preferred with at least 5 years experience in technical support of company products or systems. Successful candidate will provide technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products to ensure that the system is functioning according to specifications. Will provide software development and consultation to prospective users. Will prepare detailed hardware/software specifications on company products and develops detailed engineering estimates for potential projects. Responsible for assisting customers in defining detailed application, system, and hardware requirements. Large international consultancy with offices located in Texas.

6004 SENIOR PROCESS CONTROL ENGINEER

Requires a BS degree and a minimum of eight years experience in a refining operating company environment.  Must have extensive knowledge of predictive control applications, with preference given to RMPCT skill. Must have Honeywell TDC 3000/Experion skills, familiarity with both Honeywell PHD & Invensys ROMeo optimization applications are preferred.  The successful candidate will be responsible for daily support, monitoring, and enhancement to existing multivariable advanced control applications, as well as design, review, and modify regulatory and advanced regulatory control loops as needed. Will conduct scoping and benefits analysis for new process control-based project development, and will be responsible for mentoring associate level engineers.  Large international operating company located in Louisiana.

 

6009 PROCESS CONTROL ENGINEER

Requires a BS degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience in configuration, integration & startup of DCS. Successful candidate must be experienced in development of system databases including point configuration, application programs, regulatory control strategies and GUI. Preference will be extended to individuals with strong backgrounds in DCS upgrades and grassroots projects.  Working knowledge of information technology including Windows operating systems, Visual Basic programming and IT networks is a plus, as is any advanced process control skills.  Some travel is required for this medium sized consultancy located inTexas.

6010 CONTROL SYSTEM ENGINEER

Requires BS degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.  Successful candidates will be proficient in DCS knowledge and experience with distributive control systems and plant operations.  Candidates will be trained to configure and startup of DCS. Must be able to develop databases, including application programs & GUI, with a strong preference for experience in Honeywell, ABB & Fisher Delta V DCS. Fortran and Visual Basic programming skills are a plus. Multiple openings with a medium sized consultancy located in Texas.

6014 PROCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Requires BS in or higher level degree in Chemical Engineering and a minimum of five years experience as Controls Systems Engineer, Process Engineer or operations experience required.  Must have in-depth knowledge of computer programming and computer control systems operation.  Knowledge of DEC computer, VMS operating system, Setcon/Infoplus software and Fortran essential along with understanding of process unit operations.  Knowledge of Honeywell & Foxboro DCS and Concurrent Computer, Modicon is desirable. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementation and maintenance of supervisory control systems, as well as maintain existing supervisory controls to keep controls in operation and configured for unit configuration or dynamic changes.
