Bem-vindo aos Estudos Brasileiros
Building on its traditional strengths in Latin American Studies, Tulane University has emerged as a prominent institution of higher education in the area of Brazilian Studies. Tulane faculty with scholarly interests in Brazil has grown considerably in the last several years and currently has representation in most disciplinary fields of the social sciences and humanities. Several departments of the School of Liberal Arts, including Spanish and Portuguese, Communication, History, Anthropology, Sociology, Political Science, and Economics have faculty members whose research and teaching interests relate to Brazil.
