Personnel in the Stable Isotope Laboratory, Tulane University (SILT U), research climate change and carbon cycling occurring over different geologic time scales. SILT U is equipped for analysis of stable isotopes of H, C, and O, as well as preparation of samples for radiocarbon analysis.  The facility includes a dual inlet Elementar Isoprime isotope ratio mass spectrometer as well as a novel pyrolysis apparatus for radiocarbon sample preparation.
