Students who wish to qualify for the Louisiana Real Estate Salesman's Licensing Examination must complete a minimum of 90 contact hours of coursework (equivalent to six credits or two real estate courses)in the following:
UREL 232 Principles and Practices of Real Estate (3 credits)
A Real Estate elective (3 credits)
 

Preparation for the Louisiana Real Estate Broker's License

Students who are interested in qualifying for the Louisiana Real Estate Broker's License Examination must complete a minimum of 150 contact hours (equivalent to 12 credit hours) in the following:

UREL 232 Principles and Practices of Real Estate (3 credits)
Four Real Estate electives (12 credits)

Note: These courses are subject to the nine-course (27 credit) limit on business, management and related courses.
