• Develop civil engineers who
possess confidence, creativity and competence in the performance of their professional
activities.
• Provide graduates with the analytical, design, and problem-solving skills necessary
for the successful practice of modern environmental engineering.
• Develop a base of fundamental knowledge in mathematics, science, and engineering
that will serve as a foundation for livelong learning, and develop the information
gathering and information-synthesis skills necessary for independent learning throughout
the graduate’s professional career.
• Instill knowledge of, and appreciation for, the social and global context in which
environmental engineering is performed.
• Develop graduates who are fully prepared and eager to provide solutions to civil
engineering problems confronting society.
• Provide the graduate with a sufficient scholarly experience such that he/she will
be well prepared for graduate studies in civil engineering at the highest academic
levels. |
