This intensive advanced course is an introduction to 3D graphics including form modeling, terrain mapping and digital puppetry. Projects include creation of materials, vessels, teapots, landscape creation, facial expression, phenomes and movement animation. The course gives and introduction and overview of three 3D software programs. All projects apply towards digital portfolio development. ( current software used to teach the course includes but is not limited to Maya, Bryce and Poser as well as the Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on Photoshop. Second Life, Google Sketch up and other open source or freeware will also be introduced.This course is currently supplemented with Adobe Breeze software.) |
