Welcome

Student Researchers

Tulane University invites students to join with faculty in the search for new knowledge and creative expression.

Tulane University is known for its active research environment. Students may participate in research activities in many fields.  The Center for Research Education-Activities at Tulane is here to facilitate and encourage student participation in research and creative expression.

For students, opportunities for discovery begin in the classroom and extend into campus laboratories, libraries, studios and beyond the university's walls. Many students become participants with faculty in faculty-initiated research and creative projects. Research opportunities off-campus or at other universities also provide opportunities to learn, problem-solve and to generate new knowledge.

The Center for Research-Education Activities at Tulane is a member of the Council on Undergraduate Research, a national organization seeking "to support and promote high-quality undergraduate student-faculty collaborative research and scholarship."
