I'm from Guizhou province of China, received BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University and worked a few years as a Java software developer at Synnex Corp. in Beijing. Now I'm a PhD candidate in the Biomedical Engineering Department of Tulane University, focusing on viscoelastic biofluid simulation research, such as leukocyte passive and active migration in a microchannel including interaction of multiple leukocytes. My previous research projects involved precision casting CAD software development, indentation simulation for material property extraction, computational modeling of biotransport in osteocyte network during bone mechanotransduction.

In spare time, I like reading (except peoms and novels), outdoor activities like hiking, mountain climbing (sadly, there is even no hill near New Orleans.), camping, long-distance travelling. Also I love food (especially spicy) and cooking, and am learning photography, which will let me know more about New Orleans.
