I am from New Orleans and am currently a Freshman at Tulane University studying Cell and Molecular Biology and Finance. As a member of the biomedical acoustics team in Dr. Khismatullin's lab, I study the ablation of liver tumors in vivo and in vitro via a combination of High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) and Ethyl Cellulose Ethanol (ECE). Through my time in the lab, I have gained much experience with various experimental protocols such as culturing, splitting, and freezing cancer cells (Hep3B and PCL/PRF/5) and setting up and operating lab equipment (HIFU, imaging software, microscopes, biosafety cabinets).

In addition to my research and classes, I am a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity at Tulane University, the Asian American Student Union, and the Medical Association for Pre-Med Students. I also work in Tulane's Mail Services and volunteer for the Tulane University Service-Dog Training and Education Program. In my free time, I love going on random adventures with my friends, planning future international trips for when I have the time and resources to travel, petting every dog I see, and listening to music as much as possible.
