Coalition for Cultural Enhancement Mission Statement
The Coalition for Cultural Enhancement is committed to developing a
culture at Tulane that affirms both individuals and the differences among
individuals and groups who comprise the Tulane community. The mission of
the committee is to remove the influences of racism and other forms of
discrimination that hinder the university's maturation into a community
where all individuals work and learn in an atmosphere of mutual respect.
By using and developing resources, such as administrative support,
funding and internal and external consultation, the members of committee,
as individuals and as a group, will foster avenues of for the exchange of
views within the community that lead to a more diverse and unified
community. The success of this mission will be an important factor in
insuring that Tulane University can attract and retain the most talented
students, staff and faculty.
