Cookin' Vittles is intended as a memorial to Dr. William P. Dunlap. Bill was a truly unique individual who spent his life learning on many levels. He was most recognized as a scientist and statistician, but he mastered many other tricks of many other trades. He enjoyed building things and maintaining them. If you had a question about fixing a toilet or building a deck, you called Bill. But perhaps one of his greatest passions was "Cookin' Vittles" as he called it. Jim May and Leann Myers have amassed a sample of Bill's recipes in the pages that follow and invited many of his friends to present these dishes to you.
