New Orleans Area Recycling Resources
City-Wide Recycling Drop Offs Organized by the Department of Sanitation, the Recycling Foundation from Baton Rouge has been coming to New Orleans quarterly to collect recyclables from residents and take them back to Baton Rouge to be recycled. Jefferson Parish offers a similar service.

Phoenix Recycling offers curbside recycling to New Orleans residents for a fee of $15/month.

New Orleans Area Recycling Guide An A-Z guide to recycling in New Orleans post-Katrina. Even though area curbside recycling programs have been suspended, there are many local businesses and non-profits that accept or pickup recycled materials from community residents, businesses and organizations.
