Through the Center
for Public Service Internship Program, Tulane students
can earn three credit hours towards some majors, including
Environmental Studies. Internship sites include local
environmental and community organizations.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) maintains a
web listing of internships and fellowships offered by
the agency.
Independent Study
Through ENST 401, "Environmental Studies Special
Projects," Tulane students can earn course credit
for research conducted within the Office of Environmental
Affairs. Projects researching campus environmental systems
and proposing sustainable solutions--for example, analyzing
university energy use and greenhouse gas emissions--are
available each semester.
