We appreciate your interest in pursuing a Ph.D. in economics at Tulane University.

Unfortunately, thanks to Hurricane Katrina, the department and the entire university have had to make major changes. One of those changes is the suspension of the economics Ph.D. program for the foreseeable future.

We regret any inconvenience, and we know that you will understand the difficulties of our situation. We feel that Tulane University will emerge from these events stronger than ever as one of the premier research and teaching institutions in the South.
