C1 Econometric and Statistical Methods
The Department of Economics at Tulane University invites applications for one
full-time tenure-track position, most likely at the rank of Assistant Professor,
beginning in August 2012. Applicants should have primary research and teaching
interests in econometric and statistical methods, mainly in microeconometrics.
Preference will be given to applicants who also have applied interests in
areas where the Department has existing strengths and is focusing its graduate
programs: development, inequality, and poverty; environmental and resource
economics; health and labor economics; and public economics. This search
is part of the University’s and the Department’s ongoing rebuilding
process following Hurricane Katrina, and the Department anticipates additional
hires in coming years as it continues to build its graduate programs.
All applications must be submitted through Academic Jobs Online (https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/960). Required materials include a curriculum vita, three reference letters, and a research paper. The complete application must be received by December 2, 2011, to be given full consideration, and candidates will be considered until the position is filled. Tulane University is an Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity Employer. We invite women and minorities to apply.
