Stata has become one of the most popular statistical packages in economics. Student licenses are available online. It is also available in the Economics department's graduate lab.

SAS is widely used in industry. It is available on campus in some computer labs or via SSH on rs6000.tcs.tulane.edu. Student licenses are available from Technology Services. It is also available in the Economics department's graduate lab.
