Bachelor of Science of Mathematical Economics

The Bachelor of Science in mathematical economics is an interdisciplinary program that provides students going on to professional or graduate schools the solid economic and mathematical training they need for such undertakings while holding the number of required courses within reasonable limits. Specific requirements include:

  • Economics 101
  • Economics 102
  • Economics 301 - passed with a grade no lower than C-
  • Economics 302 - passed with a grade no lower than C-
  • Economics 441
  • One course chosen from Economics 423, 424 or 709
  • Two economics electives
  • Mathematics 121
  • Mathematics 122
  • Mathematics 221
  • Mathematics 224
  • Mathematics 301
  • Mathematics 309
  • One mathematics elective
