PhD Fellowship - Available Immediately

or Spring 2007

 

The Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences at Tulane University invites applications for a Board of Regents Graduate Ph.D. Fellowship ($20,000/yr).  Successful applicants will receive a tuition waiver and will be encouraged to participate in teaching and outreach activities.  This fellowship recipient must be a US citizen and have achieved an overall undergraduate GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Graduate Student Fellowships Announced

Tulane University, Department of Geology: 
W. K. McWilliams, Jr. Graduate Fellowships.

The Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences at Tulane University invites applications for two Ph.D. Fellowships ($20,000/yr) to be awarded in honor of W. K. McWilliams, Jr., a founding partner of McMoRan Oil Co. Successful applicants will receive a tuition waiver and be expected to teach one laboratory course a year as required by the Ph.D. program in Earth & Environmental Sciences.  Applicants interested in applying should consult the department's web site for more information on faculty research interests. New 5-year B.S. + M.S. Programs

The department has just announced a new program that will enable eligible B.S. students to obtain an M.S. degree in Geology or Environmental Science after completing an additional year beyond the B.S. degree.  See the descriptions of these programs under Degrees.
