Prerequisites

Prospective MS students must satisfy normal requirements for admission to the Graduate School or the School of Engineering, including the submission of GRE scores. In addition, students should present the following prerequisite courses:

In mathematics, 3-4 semesters of calculus, linear algebra and a semester of probability and statistics.
In science and engineering, two semesters of chemistry, and one upper-level course in environmental science or environmental engineering.

Note: Able students who lack one or more of these prerequisites are encouraged to take them at Tulane, and enter the program thereafter. We are happy to discuss necessary actions with each applicant individually.
