The vision for the Lower 9th Ward Art, Culture and Civic Engagement Center is to transform the former Louis Armstrong/McDonough19 School into a space for creativity and economic development for local residents. Students from Lafayette College’s Economic Empowerment and Global Learning Project collaborated to develop a design charrete for the organization. Now the executive director has come to the Freeman Consulting Group for help in developing a sustainable business plan that demonstrates the viability of her project.
