FIRST LEGO League is dedicated to providing
opportunities for children to work together and use technology to solve unusual and
stimulating problems. We believe that the creativity, persistence, learned skills, and
cooperation needed to complete the FLL challenge will empower students to be more
successful problem solvers in their own lives and in future problem solving situations.
The full benefits of FLL occur ONLY when the kids can feel the sense of accomplishment
that comes from knowing that the solution they created was100% from their own minds and
hands. This feeling of empowerment and
accomplishment is what FLL is really all about. We are committed to the idea that all
students who participate in FLL are winners! We strive to make the training,
problem-solving and tournaments as child-centered and nurturing as possible. Sportsmanship, cooperation, collaboration and
risk-taking are valued as part of the problem solving experience.
