FIRST Robotics Competition

Teams of high school students are given six weeks to build a robot to solve a given problem.  Besides providing opportunities for students to learn about the design, construction, and programming of a robot, they will also learn the importance of brainstorming, organized project planning, and teamwork.  The teams test out their robots at regional  high-tech spectator sporting events.
