Welcome to our class. We have decided to meet TR 3:00-4:15, at least for the time being. I look forward to our work and I appreciate your interest.

For Tuesday, Jan 20, Inauguration Day, get into Fundamentals of language, Jakobson and Halle (in bookstore). Read about 66 pp or so; the last ten are rough going.
