You should be complete reading Tutorial 3. If you also worked Case Problems 1, 2, and 3, then you are well prepared for this assignment.

BlackBoard Discussions
10 Points Maximum
There are several Forums setup in the Discussion Board section of BlackBoard. Each discussion should be self-explanatory. The name of each discussion begins with "W6", indicating that it is to be used during Week 6 of class. See our Site Index WebPage for a complete list of Weeks and Dates for all Assignments.

You may add as many threads to these discussions as you like. Each time you substantially participate in one of these discussions you earn 3 points (maximum 10 points).

  2. 10 points - Web pages are well designed and easy to navigate (as judged by George, ONLY one of us will receive full 10 points for this item
  3.   5 points - one point for each Webpage, maximum 5 points
  4.   5 points - HTML decorated with comments that document all graded elements
  5.   5 points - links to other Websites related to travel, one point each link, maximum 5 points
  6.   5 points - HTML is error free as certified by W3C Markup Validator as XHTML 1.0 Transitional or XHTML 1.0 Strict, your choice. Cascading Style Sheet is error free as certified by W3C CSS Validator
  7.   5 points - all WebPages are named correctly. See this WebPage for more info -- Guidelines for Naming HTML Files and Folders
  8.   5 points - External Style Sheet named "ts.css" is error free as certified by W3C CSS Validator. Remember to document your HTML and CSS to indicate where you have met Grading Rubric Requirements. Use this external style sheet to implement some or all of the following required styles.
  9.   2 points - style that modifies the text and background colors of page elements
  10.   2 points - style that modifies the font size, face, and appearance of element text
  11.   1 points - style that defines an element's padding and margins, distinctly different in at least two directions
