Information regarding researh activities was denied by Carla Fishman. Only the Deans of Tulane University are allowed access to information about the research that goes on at Tulane University. Ms. Fishman reported that most of the University activities was funded by the government and that information about the funding is available on the internet. Research activities for Tulane University range from projects with the Army and Navy, the Departments of Defense and Energy, as well as NASA. Also, work is being done for the EPA, Center for Disease Control, National Science Foundation, and the National Institute of Health. Tulane does research on AIDS in conjunction with LSU.
