Monique Guillory, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor
in the Department of English and the African and African Diaspora Studies
Program at Tulane University. Professor Guillory helped design Tulane's Summer
Program in Haiti after spending one year teaching English in Port au Prince. She
received The University of California Presidents Post Doctoral Fellowship to
study aspects of the Creole diaspora in Haiti and California. While in Haiti,
Professor Guillory conducted research at the Haitian American Institute and
taught courses at local schools.
