Supplementation is integrated with routine immunization, reproductive health services and the National Immunization Days (NIDs). It is not done as a separate program. |

International NGOs (Africare & ADRA) have community-based nutrition projects that include dietary promotion for children and women. Community-based promotion is done by traditional birth attendants and Support Groups where they exist but not as a special programme. The targets are families including men, pregnant and non-pregnant women in rural and urban areas. |
