Strengths
The current strength of the School's international programs is centered on their cooperation with the School of Social Work at the University of Vitoria-Gasteiz in Spain. Tulane Social Work visiting faculty taught advanced family therapy to social workers with Masters degrees there. The Tulane School of Social Work is presently evaluating this program and will decide whether to offer it again in 1996.
Goals
At present, the School intends to evaluate international program opportunities as they arise and develop them when they are consistent with the strategic plan of the School.
Programs
The School is presently involved in a program with the School of Social Work at the University of Vitoria-Gasteiz in Spain. Under this cooperative agreement, Tulane faculty teach advanced family therapy to practicing social workers who already hold Masters degrees.
In addition, Dean England is involved with the Korean Social Policy Institute in a comparative study of social policies and services related to disabilities and aging. There are at present no addition programs for faculty or students on an international level.
Courses
The School at present offers no courses with an international focus or content.

IV CURRENT INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS AND COURSES
V. FACULTY
Several members of the faculty of the School are involved in the above mentioned program in Spain. In addition, Dean England in involved in an ongoing comparative study in Korea.
VI PROPOSED NEW PROGRAMS
The School is presently investigating an opportunity to develop a program for graduate students that would involve a summer learning exchange with social workers, family therapists, and/or public health professional in Russia.
Students here would complete their MSW program in December, take courses at Tulane related to the purposes of the program during the Spring, and make the trip during the summer. The School is presently investigating means to fund this program through scholarshipsand stipends to cover the cost of the trip.
VII TIME FRAME FOR PROPOSED NEW PROGRAM
The time frame for this program has yet to be specified.
VIII CONCLUSION
The School of Social Work presently has two active international programs, both of which involve faculty activity abroad. The international program in Russia which is under consideration would involve graduate students and faculty.
The School is receptive to expanding international programs, and will consider all opportunities with the context of their strategic plan.
