Information Class Catalougue F.A.Q. Apply Home Who May Attend? The Semester in Mexico program is open to all presently enrolled college students in good academic standing and maintaining at least a 2.7 cumulative grade point average. Where Will I Live? One year of college Spanish is prerequisite for the program. Students may take Spanish courses in the Tulane Summer program in Mexico to fulfill the requirement.
Where Will I Live? Students are housed with selected Mexican families. The families are screened by our sister university in Mexico (The Universidad Iberoamericana). Homes are located on the subway line and bus lines, providing quick and easy access to all the museums, restaurants, cafes, theaters, and shops of Mexico City. The Universidad Iberoamericana is located in the far west central quadrant, 30 minutes by subway from downtown Mexico City. Students are placed two to a room with bathroom facilities. Students must make their own meal arrangements. The Ibero has two cafeterias on campus. They are open Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. -9:30 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00p.m.
