May 6 (2-3pm - Newcomb Art Gallery, Woldenberg Art Center) Newcomb Art Gallery Tour: In conjunction with the exhibition Pondering the Folly: The Desert de Retz and Its Legacy, the Newcomb Art Gallery is offering free tours to museum visitors every Saturday at 2:00 p.m. during the month of May. May 12 (8am-5pm - Location TBA) "Treating the Cancer Patient in 2000: Integrating Complementary Therapies" is a one-day conference exploring the integration of complementary therapies with conventional treatments for cancer. The program features professionals in the fields of Chinese medicine, nutrition, mind-body medicine, psychosocial support and sexuality. One of the speakers is Andrea Martin, founder of The Breast Cancer Fund and 1968 graduate of Newcomb College. Fee: health professionals, $60. For people with cancer and their caregivers, $35. Fourth annual heroes tribute luncheon, $40. Sponsored by The Breast Cancer Fund and coordinated through the Center for Continuing Medical Education. For more information, call 588-5466.
