Local Churches
We want you to be part of a local church community outside of Tulane! Check out our list of local churches we attend. The list includes information on who to contact for specific details or for transportation! If you are attending a church that is not on the list, feel free to let us know and we will add your church to the list. There are many other churches in the city, and we encourage you to find one that is fitting for you.
"Meet, Eat and Go" (NEW this year--awesome brainchild of the BCM!)
Starting from Sunday, August 30th, 2009, meet up with us and other people interested in finding local churches in the area! Eat a tastey breakfast hosted by the BCM (Baptist Collegiate Ministry), and you'll ride with others to a local church. There will be rides to at least six churches in the area. Breakfast is served every Sunday from 8:30-9:30am at the BCM (7111 Freret St. --right off of camps, behind the library!) Contact Monica Lai for more information.
Tutoring
Starting in September, we will continue our partnership with St. Roch Community Church and their tutoring/after-school program. Students will have the opportunity to work with kids from the Upper Ninth ward for 2 hours every Monday and Wednesday. Contact Hermann Alb if you are interested.
