we suggest planning for and booking your travel and accomodation needs
as much in advance as possible.
ur presenters
and discussants will be staying at the Garden
District Hampton Inn and we have arranged for a small number of
extra rooms to be reserved for possible conference attendees. These
rooms are available for $129 per night (plus taxes, etc.). If you are
interested in one of these rooms, please

the French Quarter or Garden District, the St. Charles streetcar is
the easiest way to get to Tulane. Catch
the
streetcar heading uptown and ask the driver to let you off at Tulane.
When you exit the streetcar, you will be at the entrance to the university
(A). The conference itself will be held in the Freeman Auditorium (room
205) in the Woldenberg
Art Center (B). You can also download and print a PDF version of
Tulane's campus map.
ttendees at
the conference may want to budget extra time to work in Tulane's renowned
Latin American Library. The library
is located on the 4th floor of the Howard-Tilton
Memorial Library (HTML). For queries about the collection or to
notify the staff in advance of your visit, you can contact librarian
Paul Bary. The HTML
is located half way between the entrance to the university (A) and
the Woldenberg Art Center (B).
