Qi, Chris, and Matt receive awards!
Graduate students Qi Li, Chris Esposito, and William (Matt) Benson have each received news in the last month of awards they have won. Qi
received news that a proposal he submitted to SEPM for a student-grant-in-aid has been funded. This grant will help fund work he is doing
on the influence of sediment cohesion for stratigraphic organization. Chris received news that he won this year’s award for outstanding
work as a TA for upper level undergraduate classes in Tulane’s Earth and Environmental Sciences Department. Finally, Matt received news
that a proposal he submitted to GSA for a student-grant-in-aid has been funded. This grant will help Matt fund work he is doing on
linking geomorphic and stratigraphic surfaces. Congrats to all!!!
