Demonstration experiment of a turbidity current interaction with a mini-basin in 2-D. Experiment starts with a low input discharge of a 2% excess
density turbidity current into the basin. The basin is defined at the downstream end by a vertical wall. Current at first hits and runs up the wall, but mostly
stays contained. Following this the current inflates in the basin as tranquil flow conditions are setup. At 5:25 into the video the input discharge rate is
increased causing the current to jump over the downstream wall (spilling) into the distal portion of the flume.
