The Tulane Literary Society is the hub of all literary
matters on Tulane's campus. Meetings feature discussion of literature
and literary events and are twice per month. We are always looking for
new members,
so please contact us if you are interested in joining at
litsoc@tulane.edu.
In addition, the Literary Society produces two publications
throughout the school year:
The Tulane Review, a
student run literary journal which publishes works by aspiring and
established writers alike. For more information click here.
Otherwords,
a book review done in conjunction with the Tulane University
Barnes and Noble Bookstore. Once a semester, the bookstore
provides us with books. Members choose from those books, write
a 200-300 word review, and get to keep the books they've reviewed.
Furthermore, the Tulane Literary Society teams up with the literary societies of Loyola University and the University of New Orleans to put on a monthly reading series called 1718 at the Columns Hotel on St. Charles Avenue.
