A flash of fur illuminated in the sun, the White Rabbit,
glancing wickedly at Alice, wriggles with not a pause
into the Whole, stopping it up so that

Alice, peering into the Whole, can see only the coveted
bliss of snowbunny fur. But before she can grasp
the thick neck the White Rabbit realizes that

the shadow of even a White Rabbit is black and
meets the vast nothingness of the other side with
not a seam to mark its existence, for the Whole
is too encompassing to be affected by the passing
eclipse of a White Rabbit, and

Alice, squinting in frustration to find the
difference in the Whole, eventually loses
interest, and stands to resume her journey.
