Tulane University and adjacent Loyola University both provide limited on-campus housing, as do other universities, colleges, and seminaries in New Orleans.

Monroe Hall

Tulane University Guest Housing

On-campus housing at Tulane is supervised by the Department of Guest Housing in the office of Housing and Residence Life. Tulane Guest Housing comes in two flavors:

  • Monroe Guest Rooms: two single beds, a desk, a closet, a refrigerator, and a private bathroom for $42.50

  • Aron Guest Apartments: bed in a separate bedroom, furnished living room, private bathroom, kitchenette with oven, stove and refrigerator (no pots and pans, etc.), $50.

Tulane guest housing should be reserved well in advance, especially if you plan to visit our campus during weekends or special events such as Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, Southern Decadence, Halloween, or the Sugar Bowl.

Please have the dates when you would like to visit ready when you call. Our coordinator of guest housing, Lori Antonik, will be able to tell you at that time if guest housing is available on the dates you plan to visit.
