Publications from M.A.R.I.

MARI has been publishing research on Central America since 1926.  It has published more than 60 volumes and 20 shorter monographs.  Many of our publications have focused on Maya archaeology and epigraphy, notably the 16-volume Handbook of Middle American Indians, which was assembled and edited at MARI.  Many of our earliest publications are out of print, but available for view at the Institute.  The majority of our publications are available for purchase as listed below.
