Health Sciences OCLC Users Group members may wish to make room reservations for the HSOCLSUG meeting to be held in conjunction with the Tri-Chapter Meeting at the New Orleans Riverside Hilton immediately. October is a prime tourist time in New Orleans and there are also competing conventions in town. There are several ways make reservations at the Tri-Chapter Conference Hotel, but the most important thing to know is the three character group code which is "TUM". Give the reservations clerk your group code when you call or when you go online or make a phone call, so that there will be no question that you are with the Medical Library Association Triple Chapter Meeting. The room rates are $190 for the majority of the rooms and $225 if you want a room in the Towers portion of the hotel.

I would also like to encourage Health Sciences OCLC Users Group Members to submit an abstract for the contributed poster sessions of the meeting. Alice Burnett mailto:aburne@lsuhsc.eduis the contact person for Tri-Chapter Contributed Posters. Submission deadline for posters is April 2, 2001 (Deadline extended to July 1st ). Contact Alice by email to ask for an electronic submission form. You may also access the PDF document available concerning the poster submission process. http://www.sccmla.org/poster_paper.pdf
