Welcome! I'm a postdoctoral fellow for the Department of Economics and the Education Research Alliance for New Orleans at Tulane University. My research interests are broadly in economics of education, labor economics, as well as other applied economics fields.
My current research focuses on the effects of education policy. Specifically, I am studying the effects of high school closures on student achievement and educational attainment. I have also been studying school choice surrounding the post-Katrina New Orleans school reforms. Other areas of research interest include the effects of market-based school reforms, the use of high school exit exams, and policies that affect the transition from high school to college.
