Povery Point Field Trip (Day 1, Oct. 5, 2001)

 Below are some images from the first day of our field trip. On day 1 we go from New Orleans to Natchez, Mississippi. We drive north on the Natchez Trace with a stop at Coles Creek for lunch. We then go to Vicksburg, and end up at Poverty Point in northeast Louisiana.
