Jane Guild received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University where she worked with Dr. Earl Redding and Paul Knowles. She received her Master of Music degree from the University of Colorado, in Boulder, where she studied voice and voice pedagogy with Dr. Berton Coffin. She studied Lieder with John Paton and also worked with Dr. Knud Andersson, former Music Director of the New Orleans Opera. Ms. Guild performed in Opera, Oratorio, Recital, and MusicTheater.

Ms. Guild maintains a private teaching studio and frequently is a judge at local festivals and competitions. Ms. Guild has accompanied many singers and instrumentalists and is a frequent performer as a singer and pianist in the New Orleans area.
