Research

We have engaged in various research topics which include audio DSP, VST Plug-Ins, iPhone/iPod apps, acoustics, human-computer interaction, musical controller desing and implementation, music analysis, sound synthesis and analysis, and musicology. The current undergoing projects are: SQEMA (Systematic and Quantiative Electro-Acoustic Music Analysis), Feature Modulation Synthesis (FMS), ElectroAcoustic muSic analYsis (EASY), Musical Information Retrieval (MIR) topics, Query-by-humming, Automatic Musical Instrument Identification, and physical modeling of the sitar.
