Since 1996 David Hyman has lived as a musician in New Orleans. As a denizen of the musical community therein he has played the role of performer, composer, teacher, and student, weaving his talents through a plethora of genres from rock to funk to hip hop to electronic dance to contemporary art music. In December of 2003 he received an M.M. in Jazz Studies from the University of New Orleans. As a member of the live electronic production and performance group Triple Delight, he tapped into the powerful confluence of music and modern technology which has become the focus of his composition, performance, and research. In the Spring of 2011 he completed an M.A. in Music Science and Technology from Tulane University.

Below I have included a few pieces reflecting some of my current and past work. Scores or documentation are linked below the program notes for each piece. Here you can find three albums of my original works. Gov't MajikThe Other Planets, and E.O.E. are groups for which I compose and/or play guitar and/or bass.
