Bio

Peter Leonard is an eclectic composer and multimedia artist whose body of work includes fixed media electro‐acoustic music, compositions for novel digital musical interfaces, and multimedia installation.  Aside from his creative work, Peter conducts research about acoustics, music analysis, Hindustani Classical Music, and electronic musical interface design.  In addition to teaching at the university level, he has often worked as a youth educator leading workshops and specical programs on various topics including instrument building, music composition, and robotics.  Peter currently lives and works as an artist and teacher in New Orleans, LA.  He plans to begin work towards a PhD in the field of Experimental Music and Digital Media in the Fall of 2012.
