Scope and Contents note
Most of the material are various logs used by front-desk advisors during the first half of the 1970s. Composition notebooks were used for signing in and out guests, leavings of students from town, the taking of dormitory keys, etc. Much of the paper materials were signed contract agreements between the school and parents of daughters in Josephine Louise Hall, room directories and room extension numbers, or floor plans. There were also three bounded, almost scrapbook-type books that had sign in/out signatures for three-day periods of time. Most of the items date from 1971-1975; some of the material dates back to 1966.
Organization and Arrangement
Materials have been arranged in two large boxes. The collection contains various composition notebooks, bounded scrapbook-type signout logs, and pieces of paper that were organized into folders. The items were kept in the boxes in which they were found, but composition notebooks were organized into chronological order. Pieces of paper were organized into folders with headings.
