Biography

Carolyn “Blondie” Labouisse was highly active in Democratic Party politics in Louisiana throughout her adult life. She served on the Democratic State Central Committee and at one time ran for the New Orleans City Council. High-ranking government officials made time to read her letters and respond to her inquiries and concerns.
