Biographical information

Vice president of "one of the South's largest advertising and public relations agencies," Bette Moore handled publicity for the New Orleans restaurants Commander's Palace, Maylie's, and Christopher Blake's.

Scope and Contents:

This compilation of recipes is entitled "From New England to New Orleans: A Cook Booklet." The book consists mainly of recipes, and some notable New Orleans dishes included are oyster and artichoke soup, baked oysters, Creole shrimp jambalaya, and oysters Rockefeller. For the latter recipe, she also lists another recipe, attributed to Antoine's.
