Scope and Contents note
The bulk of this collection is copied articles placed at the Nadine Vorhoff Library for students to read and/or copy for class. The material, which covers the period of 1997 to 1999, may be helpful to researchers interested in the education of women, education at Newcomb, or pedagogy of Newcomb professors.
Organization and Arrangement
The material is organized alphabetically by course field, followed by various national syllabi from the time period, then by faculty Study Group readings (1988-1999) and other miscellaneous articles, possibly from reserved readings. This arrangement was decided upon because not every reading was properly identified by semester and year, which would have been better for organization. Each course has its own number and each reading a subletter. Each reading has its own folder.
