A New Orleans native, Phyllis Parun (b. 1941) is a writer, artist, and community activist.
Contents
The collection concerns activisim dating from the 1970s to the present: women's rights, gay and lesbian rights, and macrobiotic food practices. Also included are family history, work history, education, and various organizations. Especially noteworthy are materials from the gay and lesbian community that are otherwise difficult to locate in archives of the city.
